Is the flame quality different?
Yes, the oxy-hydrogen flame differs from the oxy-acetylene flame. It offers significant advantages: it is 10 times more conductive and its consistent quality requires no adjustments.
Is hydrogen dangerous?
Dyoflam produces hydrogen on-demand in very small quantities and does not store it, so there is no danger. In fact, Dyoflam is safer than storing acetylene cylinders in a workshop or vehicle, which carry risks of explosion, fire, and leaks.
What is the electricity consumption?
Dyoflam consumes a maximum of 2.4 kW and can be plugged into a standard 220V 16A outlet. It can also be powered by a small generator.
Is it more expensive than an oxy-acetylene torch?
